CONFINTEA VI postponed due to swine flu
As a precaution to the swine-flu outbreak, the Brazilian government has decided to postpone the 6th UNESCO International Conference on adult education - CONFINTEA VI - due to take place in Brazil 19 - 22 May 2009.

NIACE has issued an invitation to its members and networks to respond to Skills Secretary John Denham's invitation to organisations to bid for a share of £20 million to open up and promote informal learning for adults and young people to make this a ‘summer of learning'.
